Our Dogs and Handler
Kathy and Gem
Kathy not only founded K 10, but is the main canine handler. She and her dog Gem are an excellent team, ready to detect up to five different types of narcotics. Gem is a Dutch Shepherd from Cher Car Kennels in Michigan. Her motto is "ball is life." She is also a dock diving champion and all around canine athlete.
Zena
Zena is Gem's roommate and best pal. She is learning the family business and being developed to join the K10 Detection and Education team. Stay tuned to our social media pages to watch her training journey take flight, and to catch a glimpse of her loving her life full of belly rubs.
